The Connellsville Catholic Community Children's Choir has a new logo, thanks to the efforts of choir
member Giana Holonich. Giana's submission to the Children's Choir's Logo Contest was determined the winning entry by a panel of seven independent judges. Her design consists of two shining stars radiating from the center on either side of a musical note. On the circumference of the circular logo are the words "God's Shining Stars," which the choir has adopted as its theme song because it best represents the choir's overall mission to inspire others to praise and worship God through song. A daughter of Nikki and John Holonich, Giana is a fifth-grader at Conn-Area Catholic School where she has a particular fondness for art. Her older sister, Audra, is an eighth-grader at Geibel Catholic Junior-Senior High School and is a cantor in the partner parishes and the Children's Choir for which she also is a leader of song. Congratulations, Giana, and to all those children who submitted beautiful logo designs for the contest.
