Education and Faith Formation

This year we have begun a new endeavor for our ENTIRE parish family called Foundations of Faith, which took the place of our previous Faith Formation Classes.  Instead of simply meeting with children, we will meet and engage YOU the parent, children from infancy to Grade 12, and other adults on the parish level.  This gives us an opportunity to work with families and other parishioners, give our members an experience with the person of Jesus Christ, and to develop a strong sense of family and community within our three parishes.   It also serves as an outreach effort for the larger community, as you do not need to be Catholic or members of our Churches to attend.  All are welcome.

Once a month we meet at the Geibel Campus, provide dinner, praise and worship time, and breakout sessions for all ages.  For parents with children under the age of three, child care is available.  Youth in Grades 6-12 and Adults serve as volunteers.

This is a once a month opportunity for you to be provided the tools and knowledge necessary to serve as the primary educators, in faith, for your children.

We also do Children’s Liturgy of the Word every weekend during our 9:30 and 11:30 Masses for Preschool-Grade 3, which will hopefully encourage you as a family to make Sunday a priority.

If your child(ren) attend private school, you are still encouraged to attend Foundations of Faith as a family. Your child(ren) are also invited to be active in Youth Group if they are in Grades 6-12.
